Usually called DiFranco by many of his friends or Ry Ry by his family, but also saw the nickname of BIG MIX, while working at an ice cream shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ryan always had the desire to open up his own place, with the first concept planned as a small hot dog shop called the BIG GRILL. Can you see where this is going? But after a few turns in life and an unexpected relocation to Denver, Colorado with his previous employer, Hillstone Restaurant Group, Ryan now turns to his experience and passion for food in opening DiFranco’s. Ryan helped create the DiFranco’s concept with the support of many family members, friends, and business advisors. DiFranco’s is not all Ryan’s idea… it came from the community. Now it’s Ryan’s turn to give back to the community by supporting local charities and sourcing local ingredients from nearby farms and businesses.
Growing up in the Midwest, Lisa developed a love for home-style cooking & an understanding of the importance of community. Upon her move to Denver, she met a friend & fellow foodie named Ryan who couldn’t wait to share his passion for Italian cooking with everyone! She hopes to show you that there is more to Italian food than mac ‘n’ cheese & mozzarella sticks. You’ll find Lisa behind the counter at DiFranco’s anxiously waiting to meet you!
